Ingredients: organic Japanese sencha, toasted rice.
A celebrated tea throughout the world, genmaicha means "rice tea" in Japanese—genmai for rice and cha for tea. We’ve selected a particularly smooth and flavorful sencha for its sweet vegetal character, which balances beautifully with the roasted nuttiness of organic Toyoshi rice.
How to Brew:
Genmaicha is a green tea, which means that it should be prepared with hot water between 165-180°F, not boiling water. The tea will brew quickly so take care to not over steep and have it turn bitter. Steep 2–5 minutes based on taste preference at 165–180°F.
Serving Suggestion:
Enjoy hot as a daily ritual or alongside a light meal, and unsweetened to let the nutty, toasted notes shine.
We source our organic sencha and toasted rice directly from small farms in Japan, honoring the centuries-old tradition of Genmaicha. Grown using sustainable methods and crafted with care, every ingredient reflects our commitment to quality, transparency, and impact.
