Made with single-origin coffee from Indonesia’s women-led Ketiara Cooperative, this limited-release cold brew delivers a smooth, full-bodied cup with notes of chocolate, caramel, and gentle earthiness.

A cold brew pack includes three 3oz. ground coffee bags, three brew bags, and instructions, making it easy to prepare exceptional cold brew at home — no grinding or measuring required. Simply steep, refrigerate, and enjoy over ice.

Crafted with single-origin coffee from the women-led Ketiara Cooperative in Aceh, Sumatra, this cold brew showcases a side of Indonesian coffee that is both approachable and deeply satisfying.

Known for its rich body and earthy complexity, Sumatran coffee develops exceptional smoothness when brewed cold. Notes of chocolate, caramel, and gentle earthiness emerge alongside a naturally low-acidity finish, creating a refreshing cup that is as easy to enjoy as it is distinctive.

Every batch reflects the care, craftsmanship, and community behind the coffee — from the farmers who grow it to the ritual of sharing it over ice.

Place one coffee-filled brew bag in cold water and steep in the refrigerator for 12–24 hours. Remove the bag, pour over ice, and dilute to taste.

The Sumatra Resilience and Rebuilding Effort for Ketiara is an urgent humanitarian effort launched in direct solidarity with our cherished partners, the Ketiara Cooperative, in the Gayo Highlands of Sumatra, Indonesia.

This community of women-led farmers has been devastated by rare Cyclone Senyar over Thanksgiving weekend 2025 causing catastrophic mudslides. The crisis is immediate: farms have been decimated, homes destroyed, two vital road-access bridges have been washed away, completely isolating their villages and cutting off access to essentials like food, clean water, and electricity.

Our partnership goes beyond procurement; it is a promise of mutual support. Grace Farms Tea and Coffee is rallying to provide immediate capital to restore their lifeline. While essential humanitarian supplies are currently being flown in, this effort focuses on delivering the critical tools necessary for their immediate survival and future self-sufficiency:

  • Generators to restore electricity and power critical resources.
  • Starlink internet access to break the isolation and reconnect the community to the outside world.
  • Essential Food Supplies to sustain the most affected and isolated farmers.

By dedicating $5 from every bag sold of our Single-Origin Indonesian coffee to this effort, we are financing the foundation of their long-term recovery. This is Phase I of a sustained commitment to the Ketiara community—a promise to stand with them as they overcome this crisis and begin the process of rebuilding.

The Ketiara Cooperative is a thriving collective of more than 1,500 smallholder farmers led by founder and chairwoman Ibu Rahmah — 1,100 of them women — located in the Gayo Highlands of western Sumatra. Ibu Rahmah began as a farmer herself and started the cooperative to create financial opportunity for herself and her community.

Founded to empower women and protect the region’s local ecosystem, the Fairtrade International co-op is a leader in regenerative, shade-grown farming and gender equity in coffee.

Since our partnership began in 2014, the co-op has tripled in membership and yield—proof of what’s possible when community, the environment, and quality grow together and the strength of a coffee bean.
